How interpreters opt in

Where and how contracted interpreters agree to receive text messages from Lan Do & Associates.

Lan Do & Associates texts only its own contracted interpreters, and only after each interpreter has opted in. Opt-in happens inside our contractor portal, which requires a sign-in and is not open to the public. This page shows that opt-in screen and the exact consent language, so that it can be reviewed without a portal account.

Who receives messages

Recipients are interpreters who work with Lan Do & Associates as independent contractors. Each one has a contractor agreement with us and an account in our contractor portal at contractor.hipaa-health.com, where they view their assignments. We do not text clients, patients, or the general public, and we do not buy, rent, or import phone lists.

The opt-in flow

  1. Sign in. The interpreter signs in to the contractor portal with their own account.
  2. Review the request. The portal shows a “Text message updates” card. It names Lan Do & Associates as the sender, shows the mobile number the texts would go to, describes the messages and how often they are sent, and links to our Privacy Policy and Text Messaging Terms.
  3. Choose. The “Text me assignment updates” checkbox starts unchecked, and the Confirm button stays disabled until the interpreter selects it. To opt in, they select the checkbox and click Confirm. Clicking “No thanks” declines, and no texts are sent.
  4. Change your mind any time. Replying STOP to any message ends the texts immediately. Interpreters can also call or email us to be removed.

What the interpreter sees

The consent language as it appears in the portal. The interpreter’s own mobile number appears in place of (XXX) XXX-XXXX. The links go to our Privacy Policy and Text Messaging Terms.

Consent is optional

Agreeing to texts is not a condition of working with Lan Do & Associates. Interpreters who decline still receive their assignments through the portal. Consent covers only the assignment messages described above. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
